When is unemployment charged in March 2023 and which banks advance the payment?

Unemployment has risen again in this month of February and the figures set off the alarms of the economic slowdown. This second month of the year breaks with the positive trend of recent years and adds 2,618 unemployed, after the resounding rise in the month of January, while the Job destruction is focused on the agriculture sector. The minister Yolanda Díaz has admitted that this result is negativebut it has been prudent when predicting a bad evolution in the coming months, as revealed in an interview on the SER network.

People who are currently unemployed will be able to receive unemployment benefits managed by the State Public Employment Service (SEPE). The main thing that the unemployed should know is that this contributory benefit will see its amount increased this year, in accordance with the rise in the IPREM by 3.6%, which it goes from 579 to 600 euros.

It should be remembered that since the change that was made in May of last year, all unemployment benefit recipients They will start charging it on a different date. Until now and as a consequence of the pandemic, the Government agreed on a measure to advance the collection of certain aids and benefits. However, this advantage will end in May, as announced by the State Public Employment Service.

Starting from the 10th to the 15th of each month the beneficiaries may receive the corresponding amount. Since on this occasion the first day coincides with Friday, it is possible that some entities choose to pay it in the days before.
