In August of last year, a report from the Transaction Records Access and Information Center (TRAC) at Syracuse University in New York mentioned that some 300,000 immigrants were being monitored by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office (ICE), the agency that oversees the parole program. But not all those released have won their cases. The majority, according to the TRAC, lose their lawsuits, among other reasons, for not having legal advice.
