Wendy Williams’ poster was replaced with Sherri Shepherd’s poster

Sherri Shepherd is preparing to launch her daytime talk show, and her promotions have already begun.

Most recently, a large poster of Shepherd’s face was plastered right outside Chelsea Studios in New York City on Thursday. It replaced where the Wendy Williams billboard used to be.

However, fans were also quick to point out that Shepherd will be filming her upcoming show in the same studio where Williams shot her hit Wendy Williams Show.

Additionally, the production crew told TMZ that the studio’s design is progressing well. They also said that the set will be repainted in bright and cheerful colors. It reflects the 55-year-old comedian’s personality.

The light blue and yellow tones are said to be very similar to Shepherd’s new poster.

In addition, insiders say that Shepherd’s new role is said to be slated until the fall. They said that Shepherd might invite some of his famous celebrity friends during the first week of the show.

Wendy Williams isn’t sold on Sherri Shepherd’s new show

Wendy Williams said she won’t be watching Sherri Shepherd’s upcoming show while talking to Fat Joe during an interview on May 6, 2022.

The 58-year-old host said, ‘I don’t watch him because I know what he’s doing and that’s not my job. Um, you know? Do you know what I’m talking about?’

He was quick to bring the topic to his attention, and he said, ‘But I like it, I like being on my show. I love how people like to watch, you know, all the time.’

Williams has been absent from The Wendy Williams Show since October 2021 due to medical issues.

Regardless, the daytime talk show debuted with guest stars Leah Remini, Michelle Visage, Whitney Cummings and Shepherd.

However, earlier this year it was announced that Shepherd would be getting her own new talk show called, ‘Sherri.’

The show replaces Williams’ popular series and will hit television screens on September 12, 2022.

Meanwhile, Williams is all set to launch her own podcast called, ‘The Wendy Experience.’
