Bayelsa born Nollywood actress, Bofie Itombra in a recent interview listed her hopes for her husband.

Bofie Itombra, who is from Ijaw by tribe, lived in Nairobi, Kenya where he did his secondary schooling. Then he went to the United States to get a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas, and later he went for his Master’s degree at the University of Manchester, England.

Then he came back to Nigeria for his National Youth Service from where he started my career.

On his relationship status, he said, “I’m not married, I’m not in a relationship at the moment. Right now, my priority is to strengthen my career and my financial strength. If come love and marriage, there will be no problem. But for now, my job, financial strength and standing on my own two feet are the most important thing. You are wondering how I can control the desire for sex. ? Well, I’m fine (laughs). I’m a religious person first, so I’m on a spiritual journey. I try not to think too much about it. Everyone has their needs, but of course, then I put my body on hold until it’s the right time with my husband. I’ve seen heartache in relationships. We’ve all experienced pain in life. What’s life without pain, happy, good times and bad times, high times and low times? Basically, that’s how life is.”

Itombra also revealed the type of person she wants in her life when the time is right.

He said, “My type of person is a born-again Christian, filled with the Holy Spirit, with the gift of speaking in tongues. I need a person who is persistent, kind, and faithful. and courage, a person who is organized with a plan, and from a good family. I can’t marry someone who is older than me. The maximum I can do is 12 years. Things other than that it’s too big, which means there’s a generation gap, which isn’t very good.

I’m friendly, warm but a loner. Therefore, the people in my circle will have a relationship with me. I like to travel; I grew up in many countries, I have lived in India, Kenya etc. I am a warm, kind and generous person.”

When asked what has changed in his life since he entered the film industry, Bofie Itombra said, “Nothing has really changed. In the first film I did, The salary is N15,000. I was grateful for the opportunity, so I can say that the change is paying off and it is getting better. Also, being an introvert actor, one has to go to premieres and award ceremonies. you are more energetic and friendly, even though I am a shy person and an active person on a daily basis. I have learned to be hardworking and patient, because this industry will test your patience and perseverance, but it is better never stop. For example, for Tail’s Tail, I had many trials before I became Amara. This taught me patience, perseverance, and the power of not compromising my standard. .I believe that if your artwork is worth N500,000 for example, you should not change yourself in the desperate need to get into the business.
