Inflation continues its deceleration streak and closes 2022 at 6.5%


Still, last week, James Bullard, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, expressed some optimism that this year, “real inflation will likely follow inflation expectations lower,” suggesting that 2023 could be a “year of disinflation”, that is, deceleration of prices.
